Origin
His parents, much like many others, initially viewed the Compound V deal as a golden ticket to securing their financial future. In their ruthless pursuit of profit, they remained obstinately ignorant of the potential consequences their actions could have on their child and the world at large. The allure of wealth had blinded them to the heroic potential that would eventually emerge from this bloody transaction. The guilt stemming from their involvement in the Compound V scheme began to weigh on Lumi's parents. They found themselves trapped in a moral grey area, yet their involvement with vought / layers of self coddling to reassure they had made the right choice && signed contacts were preventing them from confronting the grim reality of their choices. The burden of this turmoil cast a long, suffocating shadow over Lumi's entire life years, shaping his childhood in ways he would only come to understand much later. As Lumi grew older, his parents were keen on emphasizing the insignificance of his power, his weakness — spewing contempt over the gift they themselves gave him. In their eyes, it was gross , laughable to ever serve as the foundation for a true hero. This deep-rooted, discouragement rained on his early years like a relentless storm cloud, halting his personal growth and the rate of improvement for his ability — partly believing their words.not for long though.lumi was not one to be easily defined by the limitations harshly imposed upon him. In a world where possibilities were boundless for those with the courage to chase their dreams, he burned with an insatiable desire to defy their heartless expectations. With unwavering determination, he embarked on an unyielding journey to perfect his powers and hone his skills. Each day was a solemn vow to self-improvement, fueled by an unwavering vision to become a hero as awe-inspiring as Homelander. But this unrelenting ambition came at a steep cost. There was little room for Lumi to build a life beyond his unending pursuit of becoming a hero. All he knew was training, a single-minded focus that devoured every aspect of his existence, relentlessly pushing him to his limits and beyond in his quest to prove that he could be more than anyone had ever dared to imagine.
